Clinical Laboratory

The Clinical Laboratory has the advanced equipment. The laboratory specialists carry out the following tests:

1. blood chemistry (cholesterol, blood lipids, potassium, calcium, sodium, chloride, iron, total and direct bilirubin, urea, alkaline phosphatase, lactic dehydrogenase, creatinine, total protein, glucose, albumin, AST, ALT, GGT, CPK, CPK-MB, ceruloplasmin, C-reactive protein, rheumatoid factor, immunoglobulins);
2. hematology profile (hemoglobin, leucocytes, erythrocytes, platelets, hematocrits, mean corpuscular volume, mean corpuscular hemoglobin, white blood cell count);
3. coagulation tests (coagulogram, aggregatogram);
4. complete blood count, urynalysis.

All tests are made on the day of visit. Venous blood is collected with the help of safe Vacutainer vacuum systems, capillary blood is collected with the help of safe lancets. The quality of the tests performed in the clinical laboratory is controlled on a daily basis. The clinical laboratory cooperates with the Department of Science.
